Booking Terms & Studio Rules

Booking & Payment

Studio time is £60 per hour, booked in 30-minute increments, up to six hours. Payment is due when you book. Your booking includes three-camera recording, professional audio and lighting, a studio engineer, and your raw files. Editing is optional and charged separately; see our Pricing page.

Arrival & Session Time

Please arrive 5–15 minutes before your booking. Set-up takes place within your booked time. If the room is free, we may be able to let you in earlier. If we cause a delay, we’ll make sure you still receive your booked session time. If you arrive late, your finish time usually stays the same. Extra time depends on availability and may cost more.

Changing or Cancelling a Booking

Cancel at least 24 hours before your session for a refund. Cancellations within 24 hours are normally cancelled without a refund. We may make an exception and offer a refund or new time in some circumstances. If you’re more than 15 minutes late and haven’t contacted us, we may cancel the session as a no-show. We’ll try to contact you after 5–10 minutes.

Participants & Guests

The standard set-up is for two people recording. Each may bring one non-recording guest. Please contact us in advance about additional attendees or a different format. Under-18s taking part in a recording must attend with an adult and have appropriate parent or guardian permission. Everyone being recorded must know and agree to take part.

Using The Studio

We provide bottled water. You may bring other drinks, but keep them away from equipment and report spills promptly. Food isn’t allowed in the recording room. Please use equipment only with the engineer’s guidance.

There’s a large, free car park around the back of the building. Come in through the main entrance; someone should be at reception. If reception is unattended, ring the bell and someone will come to help.

Files & Editing

We aim to deliver raw files the same day; allow up to 48 hours, including weekends. Basic edits take up to three working days and Advanced edits up to five working days. Files are sent by WeTransfer. Please download them promptly: we keep our recording files for 30 days from delivery.
