ABOUT HOP HOUSE

It Started With a Conversation.

Hop House grew from our own experience of starting a podcast and discovering everything that goes into making it happen.

Today, we offer a welcoming recording studio in the Kent countryside, alongside production support for podcasters wherever they record. We help businesses, creators and people with something to share feel confident about bringing their conversations to an audience.

1 Microphone, 1 Camera & an Idea.

In April 2023, Andy and Josh sat down to record the pilot of their own podcast, The PEMF Podcast. Andy had spent over a decade working with PEMF through his business, and together they wanted to create a space to share that knowledge and open up conversations.

What began with a simple setup grew into a regular show, reaching thousands of listeners each month. Along the way, we developed our approach to recording, editing and publishing and experienced the work that happens between having an idea and releasing an episode.

Hop House grew out of that experience. We wanted to create the space and support we would have valued when we started: somewhere comfortable to record, with people who understand the process and can help you take the next step.

A Home For Good Conversations.

You’ll find us at Woodgate Farm Oast, near Sittingbourne in the Kent countryside. The studio sits within Hop House, bringing a dedicated recording space into a building with its own character.

Inside, we’ve created a calm, comfortable room where you and your guests can settle in. Thoughtful lighting, extensive soundproofing and a considered interior help make recording feel approachable, whether it’s your first session or part of your regular routine.

With free on-site parking and easy access from the M2, it’s a place to step away from the everyday and give your conversation some space.
